Some records that stay in history are born out of many things. Naturally, there is the artist's fundamental input, first and foremost; then, almost due to, perhaps, astral alignments, more talented elements get added to the aforementioned alignments, at the right place and at the right time.

The late great David Bowie has always been, throughout his career, extremely good and wise on cherry-picking the right musicians for each of his records, just like it happened in 1973 for one of Bowie’s most loved and celebrated masterpieces, the jewel that is Aladdin Sane.

It has been a while, now, for our website, since we had the opportunity to watch performing one of British hottest Blues/Rock gunslingers around, Ben Poole.

Poole, who has been constantly on Tour around the world before and after Covid19 on the back of the success of his last studio album released back in 2018 and called Anytime You Need Me, has received numerous accolades from both his fellow colleagues in the music business and the fans worldwide, fast-growing his reputation as one of the most talented contemporary Blues/Rock guitarists coming from the United Kingdom.

It's always refreshing to see renowned Blues/Rock superstars like the American guitarist and singer-songwriter Kenny Wayne Shepherd putting so much craft, attention and dedication to their music, despite his undisputed fame and success, accumulated during almost 30 years in the music business.
 
Shepherd had reached global stardom already in the early stages of his career, thanks to the hit single Blue On Black, included in the Trouble Is.. album, a body of work that has smashed several record selling figures and had a special celebration in 2022, for its 25th Anniversary since its release date. Shepherd's drive and genuine love for music still inspires the American artist to continue writing and recording albums of remarkable beauty and lyrical depth, as confirmed, once again, by his brand new record called Dirt On My Diamonds Vol. 1, recently released and reviewed also by our website.
