Kvinde Kend Din Historie (Woman, Know Your History) is a popular Danish feminist history project, a book and a podcast written and created by Danish historian Gry Jexen. The book, published in 2021 by Jexen herself and called Kvinde Kend Din Historie: Spejl Dig I Fortiden, profiles the history of 50 notable women whose skills, creativity and resilience have helped to shape Danish history in the last 500 years, emphasizing particularly on the goal to write women back into mainstream Danish history and show how past female figures helped to shape modern society in Denmark.
Someone that was particularly interested and touched, at the same time, by Gry Jexen's multifaceted project concerning the stories of determination, struggles and courage showed by said women, was the brilliant Danish Jazz singer/songwriter Emma Pilgaard, an artist that stunned many contemporary Jazz lovers and member of the press with her impressive debut album called In My Garden, back in 2024.

For the last 15 years, Music and Blues Music in particular, have been a real catalyst for the American singer-songwriter and Harmonica Maestro Chris O’Leary, an artist that has lived and still lives quite an intense life on and off the stage, with Music being a loyal and trusted companion that keeps on fuelling his many artistic talents, helping him, at the same time, to share his endless tales of relationships gone wrong, military experiences (O'Leary served as a Marine in the Gulf War) and unfortunate judgements through his impressive vocal skills and on playing harmonica.

Piper, a strikingly charming Australian-born artist that saw her career taking off even further since her move to the United States in 2014, has always impressed the fans and the critics through the years for her charming lyrical style, coupled by a vocal and overall standout performing presence on stage, the latter being aspects that match very well Anni Piper's talent and witty personality.

Many capital cities all over the world have got a special music venue that represents the sonic core and history of said cities.
While London has The 100 Club, Amsterdam got the Paradiso or Berlin has the Quasimodo, as some of their most iconic, historical venues, the Danish capital city of Copenhagen has got the Hotel Cecil, a venue that doesn't only serve Art in general, being a notorious Jazzhouse and Playhouse, but it used to be also a lecture hall and an administrative hub for the women’s emancipation movement in Denmark, when the Hotel Cecil was built in 1936.
