It is somehow baffling the way that some people look at a music genre like Bluegrass, often underestimating how much craft, musical knowledge, appreciation and talent run within those musicians who carry so passionately the torch of a genre that procures so much joy and good vibes to everybody.
In that respect, there are not so many bands, in the current music business, able to translate at the highest possible level the musical message of authentic pioneers of the genre like Bill Monroe And The Blue Grass Boys or Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt as well as the American quintet The Infamous Stringdusters does.

In these days and age, there are very few artists able to paint a global, sonic landscape of a country's own music and tradition through the decades, especially in a country like the United States, where there is a long and multi-layered history of Soul, Blues, R&B, Boogie, Country, Folk and the list goes on and on.
It is for this very same reason that a body of work like the one delivered by the Louisiana-born singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Nelson Blanchard, through his self-titled new record, deserves to be considered a modern masterpiece of Americana at every possible level.

In a time of the world where we are surrounded by an enormous amount of pressure, expectations, where uncertainty for the future seems to be the constant point of concern for the whole humanity, it's hugely comforting to know that at least, Music is still there to provide for us those rare moments of inner peace, that brief time for escapism from reality that we so much crave for, at the end of another challenging day in our personal journey in life.
Creating atmospheres able to generate sonic feelings of strong spirituality and inner peace, has always been one of the strongest skills of the Italian Pianist and Composer Roberto Cacciapaglia, an artist whose compositions have always been inspired by space, nature and its many movements, all elements that have brought the Italian Composer to create immortal piano pieces, through the years, that are well known all over the world not only for the depth of melody they naturally possess, but also because of their intensity.

2022 has been a highly successful year for the British/German singer/songwriter Roxanne De Bastion. The unanimous praises received from the English and European music press and from old and new fans for her latest studio album You & Me, We Are The Same, has brought this young and highly talented artist to the attention to wider and wider audiences, thanks also to an extensive amount of Tour dates, where De Bastion was also the Support Act for very big names of the music industry, like the Synth/Pop Master Howard Jones, among others.
De Bastion's aforementioned latest studio album has been and still is one of the highest points to date in the musical career of the London-based troubadour artist and the way that the crowds have increasingly embraced the sometimes minimalistic but highly effective sonic approach, inspired songwriting and vocal intensity of De Bastion, since her 2017 debut album called Heirlooms & Hearsay up until now, it is hugely impressive.

Every artist feels the concept of Music in different ways and releases his/her own interpretation of it according to their inner instinct or, perhaps, by compromising their musical skills and their vision with what can be seen as a contemporary sonic trend or the latest "Hip" kind of sound.
Thankfully, the multi-faceted Rock and Soul Dutch collective DeWolff belongs to the first category of the aforementioned artists, a band that keeps pushing their musical boundaries on each passing record towards a musical greatness that they have most certainly achieved through their brand new album called Love, Death And In Between.

The German minimalist piano composer has always been, since his debut album of 2014, a very talented but also an enigmatic artist very difficult to specifically pigeonhole in a defined genre.
From Classica to Jazz, both layered with fragments of Electronica and even Rock, Lambert has always loved to maintain an open door, in his next projects, due to his idea of letting free-form piano music breathing of its own accord, without having to stick to specific sonic requirements.

For the last good decade, Rock'N'Roll has not been able to reinvent itself very much. There have been the occasional exceptions, here and there but, fundamentally, not many music artists have been capable to reignite that fire brought by the Prog or Psychedelic Rock of the late 70's, the Hard-Rock or Heavy-Metal of the 80's or the Grunge of the 90's.
It is therefore a relief, every so often, to come across to a record that embraces different stages of the last 5 decades of Rock'N'Roll, translating them in a more personal and contemporary form like the brand new record of the American guitarist and singer/songwriter Jared James Nichols.
